They are early wheels but a 71 could have had late wheels also.

...pretty much, except for that rear sway bar. Yikes.

Thanks for your input guys !

So far to sum up, later lettering, mirror, black lenses, front bumper are not original to the car.

I re-contacted the seller in order to get more information about the engine overhaul. He said that it has been redone by Magnus Walker but that there is no invoice for it. He added that the engine will be checked again by a swiss local mechanic upon arrival. As Frank rightly commented, I better assume nothing has been done on the engine as there is no proof for it.

I am still waiting for the VIN/transmission and engine numbers, he claims it is fully matching number and pics of the interior are also pending.

The undercarriage looks pretty dry as far as I can see.

What is wrong with the sway bar ? I guess by Jon's comment that it is not original but shouldn't it improve steering ?

If Magnus Walker had the engine redone he will have the paperwork. At least he didn't say Motor Meister .

Looks in the picture like it was jacked up on the sway bar mounts, and one was crushed, causing the sway bar to be mis-aligned. Perhaps I just have bad eyes.
