    Auction Description:

    - 2.0-liter, 160-hp flat six-cylinder engine
    - Five-speed manual transmission
    - Reported as in original condition
    - Original wheels
    - Kenwood AM/FM/CD
    - Interior described as excellent
    - Four-wheel disc brakes

This 1967 Porsche 911S is said to be in original condition and is offered in the rather uncommon white with white interior color presentation. It’s powered by an air-cooled 2.0-liter, 160 horsepower flat six-cylinder engine which is paired to a five-speed manual transmission. With four-wheel disc brakes to ensure safe deceleration, this is the perfect car for long distance cruising. The interior is completed in white featuring bucket seats, green dial VDO instrumentation and a modern Kenwood AM/FM/CD unit. It is reported as a very nicely preserved car that has excellent interior, its original wheels and is forwarded as being a great driving car.

This 1967 911S exemplifies the craftsmanship Porsche puts forth in their vehicles. Sources state that Porsche produced 6,445 examples of the 911 in 1967 and of those only 1,823 were 911S coupes. The 911 is arguably one of the most iconic cars in the world and this car is an excellent opportunity to own a true time capsule.

    Dealer Description:

Park Place Ltd is pleased to present this Exceedingly Rare and Very Desirable 1969 Porsche 911S. Beautifully finished in its original Light Ivory color with an impeccable Black Interior, highlighted by freshly recovered leather seats, this early model 911 is fabulous throughout. 2.0L/190hp 6-Cylinder Engine. 5-speed manual gearbox with the Dogleg shift pattern. Fuchs Alloy Wheels. Turn the key, located to the left of steering wheel, and that rasping, crackling exhaust note tells you right off that this Porsche is not fooling around. A great example of the ultimate early road-going early 911 model, this 1969 Coupe is an extremely solid and straight 911S with excellent paint, trim, and panel gaps. A numbers matching 911S that retains its correct original engine and is finished in its original color of Light Ivory (older single-stage professional repaint that shows very well). Dansk Muffler. Ventilated Disc Brakes. Just serviced and ready for the road or the track. As one of the greatest pure driving machines ever produced in its iconic early form, the 911S remains the ultimate first-generation 911 and of course, it is both highly collectible and immensely satisfying to drive. The Porsche Model 911 is without a doubt the most successful Porsche ever - really it's the most successful model in the history of the automobile. As such it is highly collectible and sought-after classic car. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to add an early 911S that's ready to drive, show and enjoy for years to come, to your collection.

Included with purchase are; Original owner's manual, tool kit, and records back to the late 1970s.

    Seller's Description:

Jim Rybak (seller) documented this to be a true and correct car prior to purchasing it thirty plus years ago. Paint code 6604 Light Ivory with black leatherette interior. Front seats have the correct, one year only headrests. I believe these were added to meet U.S. safety specifications.

It has all of the correct 911S options:
    - “S” instrumentation
    - Wide rubber cushions on bumpers and rockers
    - Leather steering wheel, Leatherette dash
    - Ventilated Brake Disks
    - Gas Heater in Smuggler’s box
    - Sway bars front and rear
    - 5-speed transmission
    - Correct 2.0 litre “S” engine serial # 962025, 180 SAE HP, 7,200 RPM red line
    - Weber carbs
    - 5 1/2 “ Fuchs Alloys (Not the 4 ½” alloys that would have come with it new)

Many people ditched the narrow alloys in order to sport wider tires. There were approximately 482 of these 911S Targas produced in 1967.
First year for the 911 “S” as well as the first year for the Targa. Most of the early Targas had a soft rear window. This car has a hard glass heated rear window with a factory mounted defroster switch above the radio. Rare early option makes it more rare and valuable.
The car is a true “Euro” car with kilometer speedo. (Goes to 250 Kilometers per Hour) When I titled it, it had 98,169 Kilometers.
Contact Jim Rybak or Brian Peterson for more information. Car is going online this week internationally, so if interested please contact us soon.

The car is a true "Euro" car with kilometer speedo. (Goes to 250 Kilometers per Hour) When I titled it, it had 98,169 Kilometers. DMV would not let me use this, so converting Kilometers to miles, the title shows 61,000 miles at the time of purchase. Odometer now shows 04235 Km (64,768 Miles)
I purchased the vehicle in 1981. It came here from Texas. I put some miles on it and then stored it inside. (It hasn't seen the light of day) since about 1983. It hasn't been started in several years, and would need to be gone through mechanically. When I last drove it, it had great oil pressure and ran out fine, Really fine!
Like many old 911's, this car had some body work done and repaint prior to my ownership. Floor pans have been patched. Door gaps are wide at the top so some structure work will be necessary.
Some time ago, restoration was started. The body for the most part is stripped to bare metal with rust preventative applied, so issues with the body can be seen. Seats and carpet are removed to expose typical corrosion issues.

    Hagerty values by vehicle condition:
    #1 $286,000
    #2 $248,000
    #3 $190,000
    #4 $160,000

Please review the images I have posted online and feel free to inspect the car. Columbus, Ohio.

    Sellers description:

    1967 911S Coupe
This original Black/Black 1967 911S was originally sold by Bert Olander out of Vasek Polak to Frank Howard, grandson of Charles Howard the owner of Seabiscuit. In 1969, the 911S was sold at Westwood Porsche to manager Michael Hammond who raced the S amazingly from 1969 to 2014. The S competed mainly in So Cal events and even did the Carrera Panamericana a few times during the 1980s.

In 2014, I purchased the 911S from Michael after 45 years of ownership. The S received a full mechanical replacement and some cosmetic restoration. The original rear scoop that was purchased back in '70 and the standard bumpers and trim, as well as the 6 and 7R wheels, were reinstalled bringing the car back to how it looked when it first raced. The S was a participant in Rennsport V and was a podium finisher at the '15 Classic 24 at Daytona continuing Michael's legacy of racing this great old 911S. Mid $300s.
