Yes, they are indeed dimensionally identical.

As they are all NOS (some are beat up, but nonetheless NOS as they have never been used), they provide an interesting reference point in this endeavor, as well.
3000 miles in and the Solexes run better than ever. So far, so good!

    Hello everyone!

The rubber gaskets on my air filter housings have harden over the years and I'm afraid that they will leak air. Does anyone know if replacements are available, or if a good substitute can be used instead?

    Thanks!

I bought a half dozen or so of the air cleaner rubber cuffs new a few years back. A friend told me that Porsche was about to run out. Not sure if they have been replenished by now or if they went NLA. I may have one spare out there.

    Hi rcnagel!

Thanks for the info! I'll see if they are still offered by Porsche then.

And thanks again for making the carburetor linkage pieces!

I just Googled the rubber sleeve's part number (901.108.991.00) with a single result: http://www.nvidiasource.de/cms/en/ov...103-neu-detail. They want 12.99 € but without a picture it might not the correct part.

The seals (901.108.982.00 GASKET COMPLETE) between my air cleaner and the plates near the tops of the carburetors leave a lot to be desired. At one point I was looking for some weatherstripping to substitute but didn't find anything I liked. At least they're better than the wire mesh air cleaners on my 356A.

I purchased the sleeve in 2010 from Auto Atlanta, part number G90110899100, and received it. It was $22 at the time, now $41.91.

Pelican shows it for $41 but doesn't mean it's available: http://www.pelicanparts.com/PartsLoo...-05-Frame6.htm

Here's the link to Auto Atlanta: http://www.autoatlanta.com/Porsche-A...110899100.html

Jim Ellis has it for $35.83: http://www.jimellisporscheparts.com/...ssembly=470694

OEM Parts Wholesale has it for $32.12; however, I've never ordered from them: http://www.oempartswholesale.com/oe-porsche/90110899100

I'm looking for this part but can't seem to find a part number, anyone who could help? It's actually just the side with the spring that I'm missing.
