Thread: How much is this '71 S worth? (lots of pics)

    There is a valid point of making a comparison with 356/speedsters to 911/s I clearly remember the same coversations about "how insane it was to save that junked speedster shell" and "can you belive the fool who brought it for $2.000.00 and it did not even run" and "you could buy a new 911sc for the price of that 1957 Speedster Carrera" "those 4-cams only made 130hp anyway a new rabbit will do that" What does B. Jackson say "you do not pay to much just buy to soon" some things of course fall flat and had no substance to start with.

    Rust repairs

    Makes me wonder if I did the right thing with this old '66 shell replacing the floors and rockers plus a whole lot of other little repairs, building bits from scratch.

    I too am lucky to have one of those body gurus who can build parts from a flat sheet of steel . Here is some of this before and after work. Kinda makes that S look easy.

    PS: this is for an R project car.

    thanks for all the replies guys...I'm gonna check it out with my friend tomorrow and will probably jack the car up for a more detailed inspection.

    wrong door

    It's not a 71 drivers door...wind wing??? $3500 seems fair to me.
