    Thumbs up

After a little book work 928s post and link is correct...

The old rounded body work on the PA needed more down force so Richie Ginther and his crew at Competition Motors and the Vesek crew did the front end work on 028 and tested it at Riverside.

The last CanAm of '69 was scheduled for Las Vegas (Stardust GP 'parking lot' track) but it was damaged by rain... So, the Nov. CanAM was rescheduled for the new Texas Motor Speedway tri-ovel ... McLaren was clocked at 210 !!!!... Siffert and 028 came in 4th....

    - Riverside test photo from Peter Morgan's book 917 winning formula
    - Some info and Texas photo out of the wonderful Pete Lyons' book CAN-AM

    Cheers

Does anyone have any other colour pics similar to the #248 Jeff posted ?
It was taken at the press intro of Porsche's race programme for 1970 and was at Hockenheim in December 1969
There seem to be some in black/white on the webs but not anything in colour
Porsche had about 8 different cars there that day
    Anyone ?

    cheers
