This is the 912 prototype that Brumos owns (13394?), not a very good picture, but I was mesmerized by the beautiful license plate holder.

A few more of the early cars. Notice the paint gouge in the third picture of #1 that happened at RRII.

Interestingly enough,a week ago I received the latest Automobile Quarterly with a 6 page feature on 13327 Barbarossa.
Don has an interesting story to tell - perhaps a sweet talker on this august board can get him to do a show and tell to be a sticky on the forum site !!
The AQ story was a dissapointment as only 4 exterior pics were shown and the wheels were air brushed.
There were many interior detail differences between all the prototypes and the production cars and the article would have been much more enhanced to show these.
NOT up to AQ's usual very high standard.

    Cheers,
    Dennis.
1970 914-6 - materialised from the 'Lotto' garage into reality
    1971 2.2 911 S - now back in the UK - sob!
1975 Carrera Targa (ROW) - missed.
One of us is fast becoming a valuable antique.
