    I seem to remember seeing this for sale recently, but I may be wrong. I bet some members here know this car. Looks interesting, and not too difficult to restore back to original.

    A numbers matching car that had been converted to a club racer back in 1994,
    Has a RMVR Log book back to1994 last tracked in 2006
    The original motor # 960220 *was removed from the car & is part of the sale,
    It is currently in long block form –with no history of condition or reason for removal,
    It does turn by hand.

    1971 Porsche 911S Targa silver/black

    No affiliation...

    Listed on ebay:
    1971 Porsche 911S Targa. Very original example of a 2.2 litre car. Numbers matching car with Certificate Of Authenticity. Original interior, no tears, dash nice,original dealer & specialty shop maintained mileage, most paint is original, manuals and tools. California car with no rust or collision damage. Optional alloy decklid. Owners manual and tool kit, spare tire, jack. Air conditioner pump & bracket has been removed along with under-dash unit that is still with car. Valve job was done less than 8,000 mi. ago, with new guides & springs. engine runs strong, no gearbox noises. This is a no stories car, good solid example, in short a very intact, unmolested 911S. I can reinstall the A/C system with new drier, hoses & rebuilt compressor for an additional charge.
