I had hoped to make the trip, but the schedule prohibited it. Looks like a great run! Did you guys make it to Siebkin's in Elkhart for a few brews????

    George:

Great pix. Sorry that my schedule didn't allow me to join you guys. Hope you waved as you drove by!!!?? I told Randy that sometime we have to get together to park his Conda Green coupe next to my Viper Green targa. I have always wanted to see the diff.

Sounds and looks like it was lots of fun. BTW, is this a picture of Jim passing that "Ferrarri" at the apex?? Lots of them there Ferrarri's in Wisconsin!!!

    Maybe Next year.

    Sorry I missed it too!
How long will you be around George. It would be terrific if the midwest contingent could all get together at the same time. We could have quite a group!
Maybe something next spring, or we could take a chance on late Oct/early Nov like last year?

I am all over a late fall fling. It was great getting together last year, and Taj was too many months ago.

    Hi George,
Good to see that you are enjoying your time in the midwest. Surprising how many nice early 911's are sprinkled around the USA, eh! And those pictures you took are better than the ones that the SRegistry has been rotating on the homepage for the past 2 years! They should nominate you official photographer
By the way, the weather sucks here in Switzerland. Cold and damp...

    Hey George,

Nice work by you and MC; she of the nifty driving skills and you through the viewfinder. I liked the story of the over-the-hill late apex pass of the Ferrari - that is, until you posted the image! In truth, the only reason I passed when I did, is that I couldn't hold my breath any longer...Whew, that was pungent!

We enjoyed our time with you folks - so let's do it again.

    Curt,

We did stop there for a few cold ones and had many laughs as well.

The bar is full of race history for Road America and Elkhart Lake road racing. George shot a few photos of the stickers that lined the place.

After several adult beverages Randy and I decided to plan a 911 road trip out to Monterey next May for the annual R Gruppe gathering. Any other Midwest guys want to join up for the road trip? We will drive one way out there and either leave a car in SoCal for future fun events or the cars could be shipped back. Curt and Dave had a great adventure driving to Rennsport in Daytona. I think this trip would a blast too.
