Price check: NOS Porsche Sigla 914 windshield

Didn't know where else to post this.

I have a 30 year old NOS, Porsche logo, Sigla windshield that I cannot bring myself to install in my 914-6. "Made in West Germany".

    Any opinions as to value?

    Thanks

I have a current production Porsche windshield for Bill.

I hardly doubt he'll want to pay $5k for this one Marco. That's my estimate of value until someone comes up with a comp that's different. Then it could go up.

New ones are Pilkington, not Sigla.

And certainly don't say Made in West Germany.

For regular folks, the new ones are great.

bought one 2 years ago for $950, (Sigla), bet they went up in price, but $5k?, you just need to find one guy that really needs an org.

My "5k" remark was not serious.
I will throw in one of my organs for that kind of money. But I get to choose the organ.

I am somewhat shocked at the value of 950.00 today. Thought it would be much more.

I paid around 975.00 for the one in my 2.0 litre in 1994. A Sigla. And got a call a day after it arrived to the body shop which had painted it for me, informing it broke while installing.

Another week went by till the next Sigla arrived. Word was it was one of 4 left in America @ the time.
