12V Cummins powered Ram trucks have held their value and the 7.3 Ford is a good bet too. The best part is either can tow something besides a golf cart.

Here's old reliable. More than 400,000 miles on it. 1st year Cummins engine; 1989. 160 hp 400 lb ft of torque.

    Honestly? . . .

    . . . I think the price here was high. Then/again --- the car was pretty shiny-shiny

But. The Manx is as big an icon of the Swingin' '60s as there ever was --- a lot like the surf- and skateboards that it shared the beaches with. A blast to drive, too

Sure-sure --- show's over by about 50MpH. But you can play all day in one o' these --- flat roads, dirt roads, or no roads . . . then come home, dust yourself off, put in 5 gallons of low-test . . .

. . . then go out + do it all again the next day. Easy to work on, easy to take care of, stupid-fun to run around in

The simple pleasures of a simple/small/light car

Just bring some sun screen . . .

    . . . + short pants
