I rebuilt the replacement engine & transmission to 11810482 several years ago for Michael Scott, who then sold the car back to Bob Bailey.
The original drivetrain was long gone, so we sourced a '68 S engine core (4080910) and '68 L transmission core for the car.

Here is a recent Excellence article on the car. It credits me for the engine build (page 2), but I built the transmission as well...

So annoying that a thread like this has been stripped of an enormous amount of info because some people just couldn’t get along! I see a dozen references to posts by ‘raj’ and don’t see any of the actual posts because apparently he deleted them all.

Found many pics on the Porsport.com web site - just did a print screen of the old ones.

    Bonsoir,

Any interior pics of the race/transam interior please? Special focus on the rollcage and harness.

    Cheers

This car has been rescued and is now at my hangar. This has turned out to be a great find. It was built with Rally equipment, Sport kit, big tank, 840 watt alternator, front skid plate, heated rear window and rear wiper. There are front tow tabs, a hand held spot light socket on the dash and rolled rear quarter. It also has a set of four unpolished raw Fuchs wheels from the rally department. It is mostly complete and does still have the original engine. It has been sitting for a very loooong time. As much as I would love to add it to my small collection with four restorations of my own going I will sell it. There are a few images at http://www.Porsport.com Please contact me directly.
