Gee, I am glad I couldn't afford all the suggested "improvements" of the days of old. Just food for thought offered here.

    5.5s

The wheels in Cornpanzer's link are 5.5s not 6s. They look pretty accurate by my eye, except that the triangular holes look a little pointier than they should. At least they aren't as bad as the American Eagle copy.

They look okay, but if they are not forged, they aren't worth much

True, but look at it this way. Now the early 911 guys will not be competing with the Cal-Look VW guys quite as much. Maybe the prices will level out a little.

    Cal Look Competition?

    Hey Dave,
Back then, alot of Fuchs ended up on Cal Look Vdubs and then mini-trucks in SoCal but I always had the feeling that alot of those alloys were 'borrowed'. I haven't been to the Pomona swapmeet in a long time, but I remember the police would confiscate some seller's 'stuff' every once in a while. I think that the serious Cal Look guys won't want the copy/repro stuff... alot of 4.5s, 6s, and 7s were on Vdubs and mini trucks....

I sold mine for 250 each. I imagine you could ask 600 a piece, but only if you never wanted to sell them. They're very common on ebay.
