I've been lurking here for a while researching these cars and watching the classifieds for my next purchase but I didn't see anyone post this yet. Thought everyone would like to know about it!

Not that it matters but I think that the sticker is not original and may be a reproduction- it initially looked too good/new and upon comparing pics of my 73's original VIN sticker, this S is missing a 4th dot on the top row of the "7" in "12/72" if that makes sense.

My car is number 310 with engine 518 on the COA. Says completion date not available but I have the original registration from the Italian Auto Club. It was registered on Nov, 11 1972. So it must have been built in Oct at the latest and shipped to Italy where it was presold before delivery. The car came with a 72 style tool kit, and air bottle for the spare and although the Italian 73 manual shows the compressor the 72 shows the air bottle.
Makes sense Steve. The other cars I've seen in our range were Oct/Nov build dates. The VIN decal on this car may have been one of the DIY repops.
