Thread: Show your Garage

You guys need to strengthen your core! A nice regimen of situps, pushups, squats and planks will have you bouncing the walls.Throw in some back extensions and jane fondas and you are good to go. Oh, do not forget to stretch. Following an easy routine will have you wrenching shade tree style for years plus you can can have that extra beer with the calories you burn.

My barn/garage has hydronic floor heat. So I can roll around all winter in shorts and tshirt, way more important than a lift!

yea- no thanks- crammed under the car trying to contort my body, futily trying to see with my old eyes in dim light. Getting covered in grease, oil, or gas as I am trying to uninstall or install parts. I am done with that. I am building a new garage, and have the lift in a box waiting to install. It is worth every penny, and I can't wait!!!

I call bullsquat on this one, Richard. My Snap-On scissors lift is invaluable to get work accomplished on 911s. Brakes, suspension, fuel system, door interiors, pedal cluster, and on and on. Everything is easier with the lift, and quicker.

We don't have a lot of space at the beach...but if you have the right cars, a 2-car can be a 3-car garage.

Why are you dwelling on being old? Throwing in the towel ? OK. Not for me. I actually like my floor lift. To be fair, I do have some glue lams that I stack for a little more clearance. Use it or loose it. I offset my seat time in my 911 by climbing, skiing, and just being active. This includes the isometrics necessary to wrench while working on my cars. I guess it is kind of a Zen thing. I still use the Muir book bought all those years ago to learn how to adjust the valves.

Now back to your regulaly scheduled garages.

I bought plans for a 3 car garage and changed the doors to fit 4 P cars. Still have some valuable wall space to fill though. Living upstairs while working on the house Name: 10682665_10203030232261152_379661032_o.jpg
