    WTB: Black "P O R S C H E" & "911T" scripts correct for '72

Looking for original (only) black "P O R S C H E" & "911T" scripts correct for '72 911. Do not need to be concours but good driver quality would be appreciated. Looking for the nice silver/grey patina these develop to match my grill.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Mike, good idea.

I will post on the "Trades" forum as well but for those here...

I will happily trade a gold set of "P O R S C H E" & "911T" scripts for the black ones I am looking for if that is preferable to an outright purchase. The gold ones are in nice shape so the black ones must be of equal quality.

    Thanks!

I know I have the 911T with faded patina, I am not sure about the lettering but should as I have many sets and just sold another black anodized one that was almost silver to buyer who will polish it to match brite dip letters so should have 2 sets? Please email me. slcarr.steve@aol.com and I will send photos. Steve

not trying to hijack any thread but if you have a set leftover after selling a set to TWJ, I would be interested. For some reason my decklid on my '72, has chrome letters, or polished aluminum at least.

Steve, thanks for the reply. I have sent you an email, as suggested, for pic's and pricing.
