. . . On 27.11.1981 he purchased the car with 74000km on the odometer. Six months later he restored the car’s original look by refitting the original fiberglass spoiler. On 22.07.1983 at 95600km the odometer was replaced with a brand new one with zero mileage indicated. After covering an additional 40000km in 10 years, he felt it was time to primarily store and use it only on occasion. Then in 2003 he assigned a chief mechanic of a major Porsche dealership in Germany to carry out a total restoration at a no-expense or originality spared level. The fully documented process included a fenders-off body workup, a re-spray in original yellow, several new original-only parts, an anti-rust treatment, both engine & transmission overhaul (no cylinder machining) and a new trim. The end result was inspected by a German professional evaluation company to be totally original and worthy of a Note 2 mark. Soon thereafter the owner brought the car with him in Greece where he issued its current FIA registration. Since 2004 the owner has covered 2668 km which have been absolutely problem-free suggesting a superb level of restoration . . .
