Thread: Vintage Seats? Anybody contacted them recently?

Vintage Seats? Anybody contacted them recently?

Has anyone been able to reach the guys at Vintage Seats? I've been wanting to place an order and first tried to call them via phone multiple times, then email but no response. I know the owner was a forum user on this site, so wondering if anyone knows what's going on?

Also does anyone have a source for repro Scheel Seats? I know there was a vendor that forum members ordered from the UK but now they are inactive also as I've been trying to reach them also.

The owner of Vintage Seats has a policy whereby he answers all voicemails and emails within 24 hours. Since he's an owner-operator he can't always stop to answer the phone, but he WILL respond at the first available time. This leads me to believe that you either did not leave a message, or that you haven't given him a full day to get back to you. Of course it's also possible that his email response has been sitting in your junk/spam folder.

    HTH,
    -Mike

Michael from Vintage Seats is top notch in spite of being an Aussie.
He's swamped with work. I'm sure he'll get back to you.

Thanks got a pm from vintage seats and got his personal email.

Mike to answer your question, I called the phone number on his website and also filled out his email form that he has on the site. This was sent last week and I also got the confirmation that it was sent since he has the option to send a copy.

    Union,

When you finally purchase from him I'm confident that you'll be delighted with his product.

I'm the other side of the pond and took an age to decide what I was doing....

.....Michael was first class with his help and guidance (and patience!), answering all my queries quickly and sending through multiple photos...

....once ordered, seats arrived as promised and best of all....they look the DB's ...

Give poor Michael a break! He, probably, has been preoccupied with making plans for the Rgruppe Treffen this weekend in Cambria. I hope to see him tomorrow morning at Buttonwillow for the Rgruppe track day.

    Ciao

Give Michael a poor break? What am I doing wrong? I know Vintage Seats does good work that's why I'm asking for their contact info. This wasn't a post asking if the company was legit or what not.

It seems like when a low post forum member asks a simple question on another respected member, the newbie gets jumped on for doing the wrong thing. Mike thinks I didn't give him 24hrs, Jim thinks I'm giving him a hard time.

Truth is, Vintage Seats reached out to me this morning after the post. He said my email that I sent via his website went into his junk folder. So yes I tried to reach him. Yes I called. Yes I posted on this forum trying to locate him. No I'm not trying to give him a hard time before he goes to the RGruppe meet this week.

I do appreciate Franks response to my ad. Thanks!
