I need to have a car (not a Porsche) shipped from Milwaukee WI to me in San Diego CA. Any recommendations on who to call would be most appreciated. Thanks.

I use Intercity, Passport/Fedex.
Avoid Horseless Carriage.

Call me "The Transporter". Does it run? Happy to drive it for you.
I've used Passport. Applewood is a good too but not for this application.

Thanks Gents. It does run Tom, at least it better! I've purchased a 97 Toyota Land Cruiser for my "outdoor" activities. These FJZ 80's are just modern enough to provide some good creature comforts but are still very rugged and dependable trucks; plus I really like the styling of this generation of the Land Cruiser. I do a fair amount of off-road travel in northern Baja, Mexico for quailing hunting and the LC will be a great vehicle for that. I wish I had the time to fly out and drive it back to SD, but too much going on right now. In August my wife and I (and the dog) are planning a road trip to a friend's ranch in Montana so we will get a chance to strech it's legs a bit...

FZJ80 . . .
4.5 liter twin-cam straight-six. Last year? And is it the 40th anniversary? Always hard-to-find --- and definitely a Car to Buy Now . . .

Great truck. We had a '96 for a few years. Cheaper than the 4Runner, these days, too . . . but WAY more capable. And tougher
You'll love it . . .
. . . just lose the running-boards

Nick, I'd be curious about what you find if you are willing to share. I'm probably about 2-3 weeks away from needing a 911 shipped from Delaware to San Diego. Only info I have so far is the recommendation by my mechanic/builder to call "Tropical Auto Carrier" in Florida. He's used them many times. I haven't called yet...thanks,

I recently had a 911 sent from Southern Maryland to Los Angeles with Intercity. Absolutely no issues. Great communication and a fair price. I would definitely use them again.

Just used DAS from San Diego to chester co pa. Fare price, good communication. Here's another guy, he's back and forth from the east coast and west coast every other week. His name is Dan from d and d transport. 1 916 710 4026. Just don't waste your time with the brokers.
For a '97 toyota LC added with the time of year you are doing this, I would just google 'car shipping quotes'. You will instantaneously have a bunch of quotes in front of you and you can then go with the cheapest or second cheapest.
. . . who'd ja go with? . . .
. . . + how'd it all turn out?
