new 70's porsche race jackets - new release

I see that porsche has just released the jacket range reminiscent of the ones used through out the 60's/70 by the race teams . Not in the usa yet but i chased a contact in the usa and she advises that they are going to pre order and it's cheaper then the euro .

" Thanks for the inquiry. These jackets have technically not been released in the USA yet but we are expecting news of them any time. As long as Porsche keeps our pricing the same when they are released, the discounted price would be $397.11US each (plus shipping to get to you)."

for some reason I feel like a douche being in my 911 wearing something with the porsche crest on it. hat, jacket, whatever. :|

I'd do it if it was an original though I think.

Yeah I sometimes feel a little "fan boy" if I wear too much with the car...

It's like wearing a shirt with a band's name on it to their own concert.

That plus when I was 22 in 1970 that style looked good on me, today, not so much.

All that being true I think Nicolas has done a great job on these.

Hey John, got some info on that event? Might be worth a trip across?

Don't get me wrong, I actually like the jacket - retro cool... But when I'm driving, I think the car says it all!
