    1967 911S carpet binding question

On a '67S, the 'slit' for the control heater lever: is the slit bound with edging or left raw?
( I believe my old carpet had edging there, the trimmer putting in the new stuff isn't sure)
A photo would be most appreciated.
    Thanks

my '69 T does not have any binding... the edges are raw / as cut... I have had the car ( carpet ) from new... I have a rubber boot that partially obscures the cut edges...there is a "large opening" for brake and heater control... the rubber boot has the "exit slits" for the controls... you can add the binding later if you find that is what they did in '67 ( easier than removing and leaving sewing machine tracks )

Brian, if you don't get an answer by tomorrow I will be able to look at the carpet on my old 67S which is original and let you know.

Thanks. My original carpet had binding for the heater lever, so that's which way I'm going. Thanks again≥

My 68 has binding that Tony supplied me for my 68. I'm pretty sure that there is binding there.
