Removal of interior ready for resto

    Hello,

Now about to remove my interior. The original sound deadening is still in place. What's the best way of getting of of this removed back to back to bare metal. Are there any liquids or degreasers chemicals that make it easy. I'm buying a new compressor to help with surface rust. It's a 69t btw.

    Thanks Lee

Heat gun and a soft plastic scraper (or metal if you don't care about the paint underneath). Once the majority is off you can clean with something like acetone to clean the last bits away before media blasting or wire brushing...
Not a fun job and you need gloves to protect your hands from the heat, especially in the tight corners: ask me how I know!
