I have several Solex airfilters with snorkel and I noticed today 1 snorkel is different. Picture below clearly shows that the small spout is on the left or right side of the main spout......
The measurements of the main shape is exactly the same for both, including the angle of the elbow.

There are some small differences though:
The one with the small spout on the right (lower one on pic) has a metal joint right after the elbow curve (see detail), whereas the one with the spout on the left (top one in pic) does not have that. To curve the latter, it has been cut on the inner side, bent and welded together again.
Another difference is that on the bottom one, the small spout is attached with a socket on the outside, and the lower one does not have that.

Both snorkels seem very original, dull paint and seemingly no restoration.

Can anybody elaborate on this please?
