    Wood Dash Clip Removal

    Hello everyone!

What is the easiest method for removing the clips / speed nuts from the early wood dash pins? Mine are still holding very tight.

    Thanks much!

These are called push nuts. If you can get to them, take a very small screwdriver and bend the tangs up. This should release the push nut but the fastener will be destroyed. These are the auto industry's concession to manufacturing costs versus ease of maintenance. In my perfect world they should be banned from all but cheap Chinese products.
