    original Porsche luggage

    Hi,
    does anyone know the names of the companies which produced the original Porsche suitcases in Tartan or leather etc.?
    I did some research and came up with Madler and Seeger.

    Volz supplied the luggage for Factory delivery in the early to late 1970s.

    I would assume a complete set for min. 5k up to mint in 10 - 12k . . . a original tartan weekender summed up to 2.2k some years ago . . sometimes they are offered on pelican, st. on ebay, or other auctions . .or swap meetings

    at the present time on ebay is a set for a 356 . . listed price is around 7k, three suitcases . .just to give an rough idea . .

    I have this Original 356B Suitcase in my 1962 356B Twin Grille Roadster. It is ROADSTER ONLY! It has a cut out for the hump and does NOT fit in my 1957 Speedster or in a 356 A/B/C Coupe or Cabriolet.

    Absolutely, I had a set and they fitted beautifully.

    For a fraction of the price (about 1'200$) you can buy this set which is very practical and well made (on the right):

    Thinking about how much luggage that is!? One medium soft bag usually is all I take to go anywhere, and if my wife and I are traveling we take 1 large soft bag, even for a month of travel. I guess if you have a lot of formal functions to go to, or a long business trip when everyone wore suits all the time.
