    OEM torsion bar?

I need to replace the rear torsion bars on my 1970 911T. I'd like to keep the ride stock - can anyone advise on the stock torsion bar size? Seems to be a range of 21-30mm. Also, is solid preferred over hollow bars? Ekler's Automotion seems to have reasonable prices on solid bars...

    Thanks in advance!

If I am not mistaken I believe the rears are 23mm.

I have heard that good, used torsion bars are readily available and sell for a fraction of the cost of aftermarket new ones.

18 (64-68) and 19mm (69-89) front, 23 (64-78) and 24 (79-85) rear torsion bars are usually available on ebay. I went from 18/23's stock to 19/24's SC's. Still compliant but just a little sportier.
