    Correct Tool Bag for a 1970 911T

Would someone kindly tell me if the same Klein black simulated leather tool bag was used from 1965 through 1973, or were different tool bags used for the short wheel base 911s, the long wheel base 911s and the 1972-73 models.

Also, what is a fair price to pay for a used OEM tool bag for a 1970-71, without any tools or accessories? Many thanks, in advance, for your help.

    hoya,
there were a number of different tool bags used between 65-73. For '70-71 you will want the basketweave tool bag as seen in Post #1 of this thread (which will also answer many of your other questions about correct tools and tool bags):

    Gentlemen:

Thank you both for your replies. The picture and the price range for an original basket weave tool bag are very helpful. Sadly, my '70 911T came without its tool bag and I am working on acquiring all of the necessary tools and accessories. Many thanks for the help!
