    Ball and Cup sizes

I am thinking of replacing all the ball and cup joints in my 68 throttle linkage from the bell housing through to the Weber carby levers. I can see these for sale on PP (there is no actual 'kit' that contains the necessary number), but from the US to Australia, with initial item prices and minimum freight it becomes quickly a large bill and slow delivery.

Can anyone give me the actual dimensions of the ball and cup sets, or some proper description of them, that might allow me to obtain the same or similar item from a local supplier?

I know this seems dumb, but I can add that my car is not here now, being away having its engine re-built.

I wanted to buy in new parts in the meantime.

I think someone mentioned the sizes in the thread about measuring the rod for the MFI pump. I assume the carb ball joints are the same size.

I think they're 8 mm but I can pop one off and check Merv.

Don't forget you need both LH and RH thread.

I used these guys, and can highly recommend them.

Thanks every one. I am stuck in Papua, Indonesia next week and can do some internet searching. "Ball and cup sizes" ... Yes the alternative interpretation was anticipated.
