    Dansk fuel tank

I need a fuel tank as mine is swiss cheese... Anyways I'm going the route of Dansk but I read a review on pelican saying there are fitment issues. Has anyone used these tanks/what are your opinions on the tank. Thank you.

The center bung used for the banjo connection is made too long and if reassembled in the stock location, will interfere with the steering rack...plain and simple. While I went ahead and shortened that bung to allow the tank to seat and not interfere with the rack, a perhaps easier solution is to use that bung for the tank drain plug and relocate (with adapted fittings) the banjo fitting to one of the other two threaded holes. I purchased mine from Stoddard, made a polite fuss, and in the end they had nothing to offer other than saying 'they were all like that'. They did offer to take it back, but that was not a solution to my problem so I just made the necessary adaptions. Other than that, the tank seems very well (and accurately made) so why on earth they would add unnecessary length to a bung that only causes headaches is beyond me.
