FS: MFI Snorkel and Mounting Ring for Air Box

EDIT - These are not 72-73, most likely 68-69, but welcome expert input - EDIT

I have a 72-73 only (though I think it fits other years) plastic MFI airbox snorkel.

Has the preheat still attached, not cut or shortened, etc.

    $150/offer

I also have a metal mounting ring that I believe fits the same - $25

Please educate me - my understanding was that the airboxes and snorkels changed from metal to plastic in 1972 to help reduce the intake sound. What's your info say?

Of course. So these are earlier MFI or Weber/Zenith, w/o flappers?

Greg, I'm pretty sure the snorkel that you show above is for the late 1971 cars with the plastic air filter housing. My May 1971 build T has the plastic filter housing with a similar plastic snorkel fitted in a metal circular housing. Mine does not have that rectangular attachment to the metal hose mount at the end of the snorkel. See below. Same plastic snorkel for both carb and MFI applications.

BTW, thanks for the metal snorkel - were you able to include the wing nuts?

    Best,

    Bob

    Thanks!

Yes, 2 nuts and one washer - all that was there.

Looking to purchase a snorkel exactly like what Bob has listed above with the #2 on it. This is for a 70 Zenith 911T.

    TIA
