    Can be used either side but this one has the accelerator rod shaft.

    Update...
    the bores on the 1970 model are 40mm top and 31.5mm bottom
    one year only of this size...

    I have added some pictures of the bores....there is some very small spots of corrosion in the two end bores...
    not really much of anything but was asked that question and want to be clear on the condition.....exterior is fine
