    1970 911s Door panel question

    Hello Porsche experts,
I am helping a friend reassemble his 1970 911s. What should be behind the door pocket when it folds down? Is it just the plastic moisture barrier or is it trimmed in vinyl?
    Thanks Chris

    Just the plastic.

Yep, it's not a full door card like 64-68. The card does back the forward fixed door pocket but, not the flip down pocket. The original moisture barrier on my 70S is black plastic.

That's correct. The moisture cards are still available from Porsche, all be it with a few incorrect holes (re 964) and the are white. We do have a supply for correct black ones that have only just been made but we are in the UK. I will update the web site with them soon.
