Brake cylinders for 1967 911S Targa

I'm about to begin the complete brake system replacement on the '67 Targa I'm restoring. It currently has a single circuit brake master cylinder. Was a dual circuit offered as an option in 1967? For safety I am considering replacing the single circuit with a dual circuit. Thoughts?

Well, so much for the thoughts. I guess I'll stick with the single circuit.

    Well, here are my thoughts:
AFAIK dual circuit not available until 68MY.
On my ´67 that is pretty original, I will keep the single circuit.
On my ´67 wreck, I will upgrade to dual circuit for safety.

Personally I see no reason not to upgrade to dual circuit if you are doing a total brake system replacement.

I agree with Schiefer. Unless you are aiming for museum-quality originality, you should definitely upgrade to a dual system. Don't take unnecessary chances with your wellbeing or that of your car. Keep all of the old parts, of course.
