73 S - window frame - need help identifying these parts

RE the PET diagram/illustration 804-20, item 13 (according to the legend there is a right and left front, and right and left rear required) are small flexible thin plastic pieces that are configured in way that they appear to 'snap' in place, but exactly where escapes me. I can find nothing on the door or window frame that would seem to accept these pieces, so perhaps they are not required and PET has misled me. Can anyone please help? Car is a 73 coupe. Thank you!

Those are used on late 80s Carreras. Not on your 73, though.

Jim - thank you so much. Heck knows why PET has them under the 70-73 911 listing, ,but such explains my confusion as to where/how to install. Back to the garage for more progress with you solving that mystery.

That's often the problem with using PET instead of the original publication parts books, PET shows all the updates and supercesions.

I have seen '73's with a similar piece at the front . It was hard rubber , not plastic and did not have the bend with the hole for the plastic rivet . It was glued in place . So you can cut the ones you have to make the part .
