VERY nice early (pre-72/73) orange badge/hood emblem...

This early badge is prettier in real life; pix do no justice. It comes with the original gasket, therefore a perfect fit/seating. No cracks, just some patina and the usual (real) tiny spots/marks of pigment/primer? showing very lightly. The black and orange bars are evenly colored all over, though the pix lie a bit, again, it's nicer than pix can do. Satisfaction guaranteed! I truly find it to be stunning. Why selling? I don't need it, though I love the thing... $665.00 shipped conusa...... Offers? A great item for your display case or for a very good/excellent survivor or any great early car. Last point: the white tiny spots here and there are just normal patina; no missing enamel! GOT PIX! MO or Cashier's Check if you please....

I can't seem to upload pix, sorry! Please email at nesslar@aol.com for photos. This is a fine example, I promise you that. Thx!IMG_0782.jpgIMG_0778.jpg I hope these work, still trying to post more...IMG_0769.jpgIMG_0766.jpgIMG_0772.jpgIMG_0771.jpg

I believe that means a smooth back. Later versions have a dimpled back.

That is the same badge that came on '72's. The casting imperfections on the back at the bottom badge are a dead giveaway that this badge is the real deal. I could dig out my badge that was on a hood stored for 40 years to prove it but that sounds like a lot of work.
