    rennsport and getting your kardex

i don't remember rr4 having this but I've read that porsche had representatives there to provide a view to your kardex.

For those of you who remember, what info do we need to bring with us in order to get the kardex (at least what was it last time?). I've got some cars I would like to get a card for, and my neighbor who won't be attending would like me to get one for two of his 356s and a 911.

    thanks in advance, tj

    Hey TJ,
The factory rep, at Werks, would enter your vin and verbally let you know some of the information.
Build date, delivered dealer, options... but not let you look at the computer screen.
I needed the vin but I really didn't get enough information to make the wait worthwhile.
    Hope you have better luck,
    Tony

They will stop you if you try to take a peek. They will not tell you engine or transmission number but will confirm whether or not a number you provide them matches, so you really need your vin, engine and trans numbers with you if you want confirmation. I asked about 3 cars, though wouldn't have asked for more than 1 if anyone had been waiting behind me.
