FS: Niki Lauda momo signature wheel

    Hi guys,

i've been collecting momo steering wheels for a while now and the time has come to thin out my collection. As you can see, first up for sale is a vintage Niki Lauda wheel, black spoked version. Not only are the black ones better looking in my opinion, they are said to be more rare too. The Lauda wheel is already a lot rarer than a stewart or ickx wheel which come up for sale every now and then.

The wheel offered here is dated 9-78. Although it's 37 years old it still shows very well! The front of the spokes look very nice without any flaking or scratches and even the signature is almost completely intact. The L of Lauda has started to fade a little but it is still very readable (see detailed pic). The back of the spokes show some usage but still very minimal. The leather is nice and firm with one small spot at 7o'clock. Not sure what happened there but with some love i'm pretty sure this can be sorted out even though it is very small and not seeable when in the car behind the wheel. The thumbs pads are great without any spitting, as are the seems as you often see with older momo's.

Overal, this is an absolutely great collectors item that i wouldn't be selling if i had another on for my own collection. First 450$ takes this wheel home. That is without paypal costs and shipping. I'm from Belgium and shipping to the US should be around 35€ (estimated).

Bump for this collector's item. Open to offers but please be reasonable.

Time to take this to the top again. For the real enthusiast, i should have a spare Lauda helmet horn button laying around too. Don't ask me to sell that button seperate from the wheel because i won't.
