    Wilton Wool Carpet

    Has anybody used Wilton Wool carpet?

    I know it is not concoursable, I just want to know how it looks and feels...

    Its very nice short nap. It was OEM on Ferraris and RR. Sonnderwunsch shop has used it in the past. I used to get it from Bill Hirsch an old Bentley RR supplier. He used to distribute Connoly and Bridge of Weir leather too.
    It is more or less the same as our velour, but solid colors. All wool.

    What color are you looking for? I need Tan and have not been able to find anything remotely close to original Harrgan. Frustrating!

    Black seems too dark to me so maybe something with a little silver in it, or gray (which is kind of a blah color).

    BTW, I'm not the only one who thinks the cockpit of a 911 is a dark pit - a PO of the first 911 I owned had added small lights that illuminated the footwells whenever the headlights were on.
