Refreshing to see the press interviewing the right guy for an opinion.

And to think my next door neighbor in Anaheim had 3 in red with black trim ; choice, selling two, keeping one.

    Fall of 1974.

All looked like new and had well cared for, 20 year old, Southern California patina. I could see them from my bedroom window across the adjoining yard. They didn't sell all summer long, nor yet by the time I returned to the Midwest for next college semester after Christmas ......

    Asking price ?

    $2500 each. Choice.

    how times have changed
    Best Regards,

I know a guy who sold his 62 Ferrari GTE 2+2 for 29k. Every time I shave the poor guy is looking back at me.

I looked at that rust bucket a few days before was listed on Ebay. It's so rusty that even tops of the fenders, doors and cowl have gaping holes in them. Missing everything pre-A including gauges, steering wheel, wheels, top bows, Speedster seats,
plus has later gear box and engine. High bidder flaked as likely a shill but heard some fool offered $155K for it. A fool and his money are soon parted!

I had the chance to buy a Lusso for 20k and passed (in '76)

I had a chance to buy a Ferrari GTB4 long nose in 1982 for $10K and passed. Also had a chance to buy a 64 289 restored Cobra in Princess blue for $85K in 1988 and passed. Also sold 2 89 Speedsters, one in Baltic blue and one in Black and wish I still had. I could go on and on but it only hurts more when I think about it.!!!!
