    Targa rear deck plastic trim...reproduction

I purchased 2 unused rear Targa decks recently in an attempt to get at least one perfect rear plastic trim piece so that I may produce fibreglass reproduction pieces
in 2mm thickness to match the original plastic.

I have no experience with fibreglass just assume its the best material to use given the super light weight of the original plastic and it should not deform as easily I assume.

I hate how they are all warped due to the heat and have a 73S Targa I am working on

Before I go to all the expense of getting the mould done has this been done by anyone else? If so put me in touch.

If its not been done what is the interest level?

Its a post Xmas job so won't happen in a hurry.

sounds good. I'd say that 90% at least of LWB Targa owners need one of these and it's a real visual piece that needs to fit right

I've put one in recently, seemed to fit fine.

The PET seems to show two types. One for fixed window and one for convertible window. Anybody know the difference and why would swb/lwb be different?

Just ordered 3, visuallly looks correct good job Car Point.

I will be able to compare to a virtually NOS piece once I have them and will report back.
