Thread: ski rack question

    ski rack question

    All,

needing some expert advice here... I've had this ski rack for years thinking it goes on my targa... but it does not... The 3 holes mount on the one piece does not fit my targa bar anywhere... is this even a 911 part? I have 2 mounting screws on the targa, these just do not line up.

ok thank you gents. Any idea how this would be installed? I tried to fit it to my 914/6 but there is no spot to mount the part with the 3 screws. I assume the other one clamps to the front drip rail.

The car has the provisions for the rack built in from the factory. You will have to peel back the roof seal to expose the hole for the forward rack over the windshield. Installation time should be no more than 15 minutes.

ye, spent too much time at home listening to my wife. Thank you for the pics, i did not look UNDER the bar. Distracted by looking into the engine bay (911 content there!)

And Frank - THANK YOU for getting me back on the road the other day. I owe you a latte.

    Anytime Jules.

    I don't suppose that's a real 72 Euro 914-6 with fac MFI?

One was floating around Phx in the 70's/80's.
