I have not checked and am currently too lazy, but do bronze bezels fit that kind of (K300) switch? Bronze might be only used for locking switches. Do you know?

    Ha Richard,
exactly that question is why I asked! This has been bothering me for quite some time as I never saw a bronze bezel that actually fitted the ignition without steering lock (901 613 101 10). The one that fits is 901 613 191 10 according to the parts catalogue, but it does not say what material obviously ....

Does that not exist in bronze? Was the bronze (901 613 191 00) only delivered in Europe with the steering lock (901 613 101 00)??

We will need input from members w/ an original bronze bezel (not modified) for the non locking ign. switch. I checked and I one have bronze on locking switches.

I have a bronze bezel but it works with a locking switch for my very early '65.

    Reproduction Bezels

If anyone is looking for reproduction bezels for this type of non-locking ignition switch, I have some available. I sold all my original bezels and I had a second batch manufactured. This new batch has four indents, versus the two indents as shown in the attached picture.

    Thanks!

    No, they don't.
The threaded barrel of locking switches is larger in diameter than that of a non-locking switch.
Bronze bezels are for locking ign switches in 68 and earlier ROW Porsches.
Plastic bezels are for non-locking early SWB cars.
Also, the hole for the key is smaller on the bronze bezels than it is for the plastic non-locking switch bezels.
    I'll post pictures soon.

    Regards

    Jim
