FS: @eBay - 1970 911S Targa for sale in Upstate NY. Matching number car

I thought you guys might like to see this car, I was at the sellers shop a couple weeks back picking up a
few race parts when he showed me a car he was thinking of selling. 1970 S Targa. I was impressed with the over all condition.
I didn't get under it but rust looked very minimal. Would make a great restoration project. I asked about price and he told me
in the mid 70's and he was thinking of putting it up on Ebay. Well it's up now, Seems like a good buy. I really considered it but
have too many projects not getting done already

'. . . Up for sale is my 1970 Porsche 911 S Targa. I purchased it with intentions of doing a full restoration. Unfortunately, current projects are taking much longer than expected so this car has been sitting in my garage for way too long! Let’s me reiterate, I purchased this ’70 911 S with intentions of restoring it. Meaning, this is an extremely solid car! Please look at the pictures and ask questions! Extremely little rust with all major worry points in near perfect condition including torsion mounts and battery boxes. There is 1 small spot on the driver’s rear floor pan (about 1 1/2 “) and on the passenger floor board one of the relief circles pushed in. Jack points are solid and fairly straight. It actually looks like someone was smart enough to jack the vehicle properly! It has 5 matching fuchs wheels that appear to be original to the car. Air box was off being painted when pictures were taken. I do have the original air box for the car. I have a clean title in hand and the COA from Porsche.

I purchased this vehicle not running after it had sat for more than 10 years! To my surprise, it was the easiest resurrection I’ve had with the absolute best results.

-Fuel tank inspected and cleaned, not rusted and no sludge

-Injectors removed and inspected. Clean and in excellent condition!

    -MFI pump inspected and cleaned

    -Spark plugs replaced

    -New fuel filter

    -Fresh oil change

Inspected all cylinders, dry run, and then combustion! She started right up and purred like a kitten. Idles smoothly and accelerates strong. 10 years! Test drive was smooth, engine doesn’t smoke, and no signs of major leaks.

The bad: Car is in primer. It could really use some light body work and a nice paint job and it would be a really nice driver. Of course, the big return is to do a full restoration. That was my choice and will yield the largest return on investment. The interior is in nice original condition but the dash has a small crack where the speaker is. I recommend that the idlers be upgraded to oil fed and the valves should be adjusted . . .

Exactly! Always fun with unusual colors. More pics would be nice, especially of the paint tag. Could you ask??

Hi Guys! This is actually my 911 S. Cool info. Unfortunately there isn't a paint tag present I can send more photos though. Anyone looking for anything in particular?
