    Hello,

I'm looking for a 60's PCA badge with E.F. Wiedmann Frankfurt stamped on it. Patina is welcome.

    Real?

Found this one for sale but the A in TAM, seems different than the ones I've seen online. The A isn't as small. Anybody want to weigh in? Does this feel real and early?Screenshot 2025-04-21 at 5.39.06 PM.pngAttachment 635718

E.F Wiedmann was the first maker of the PCA badge. the OP is correct in the (approx.) date range. I believe these were the only badges made in Germany. the red in the shield is immediately recognizable for it's sparkle. starting in 1973 they were sourced from Spain. between these 2 timeframes the badge is unmarked. I can show examples for anyone interested. HTH

88mm dia. no maker mark. high quality produced. German made ? typically I don't see German badges of this era that don't carry a maker mark but it's not out of the question.
note the red is a dark almost blood color and opaque.
