KARDEX for post 1970 car wanted

Hi everybody! I'm looking for the kardex for my 7/1971 911s. Is there anybody who knows where and how to get one? I got in touch with some very kind and helpful folks on here but their arm only reached up to 1970. Any help would be highly appreciated. Jens

I could be wrong, but it is my understanding that there are no Kardex's for 1970 and on. They either lost them in a fire, or quit doing them. I am somewhat unclear on that. I did get a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) which met my needs.

I have a a couple of them for 1970 cars. I think it's 71-on that they're unavailable or perhaps never existed.

I posted a 1973 (maybe 1972) build sheet somewhere. By that time there are only build sheets as far as I know. They are much more comprehensive than Kardexes but much less accessible.

I have a early 1970 Euro 911 that came into the US in the mid-70's, but I have no info on it before then. Would also love to get my hands on a Kardex.

If they exist for 1970 cars, why should it be impossible to obtain them? Would Porsche become responsive if we got a large group of 1970 owners together to make the request?

Going to the Jay Peak Porsche Parade in a couple of weeks. I'll see what I can learn from the Porsche reps there.

Post 70 are on micro files or such stuff, they stopped doing the old Kardex paper thing by 1970ish.

Swiss delivery cars continued to have Kardex-like papers, copied by the importer from the Kardex/delivery sheet itself, from 1951ish up to today and still available.
