    72 911 Targa.2 lighting questions. 1 brake pedal question

I am trying to put my 72 Targa back to looking normal-ish from the rear impact bumpers.
    1) Where is the lead to power the lights in the bootle?
    2) I have an electrical cable that runs on the right inner wing and disappearsee behind the oil tank (72 model) What does the wire connectarines to? I would upload a photo if there was a simple attach icon.
    3) On the brake pedal, forward of where it attaches to the pedal and aft of where it goes into the slave cylinder is an adjusting nut-just ahead of the brake light sender arm. What does this adust?

#1 sorry, don't know what a bootle is?
#2 that is the harness to the oil level sender
#3 That adjusts the free play of the brake pushrod,,,,very important to get right.

When starting a new thread, scroll to the bottom of the page and there is a button for attachments (pictures) "manage attachments" click that and upload picture. Done..
For a thread reply, use the "go advance" button and use the same procedure.

Does the leads from the oil level sender run rear wards to the harness on the rear rights side?
How do you check the free play on the pedal?

When I do this with the "go advanced", it brings up a page similar to the original "Post a new thread" with toolbar and lots of icons. I know this is simple for some, so is flying, once it is explained and shown.

The wiring harness inside the passenger side engine bay passes through the wall by the tail light. This is the harness inside the rear fender. The center wire group is to the passenger rear light housing, and the wire tail that loops around the bottom of the picture goes to the oil tank level sender.

    E Sully, thank you.

By passenger side, you mean the right side? Some cars have the steering wheel on the correct side-right Mine is left hand drive.

My car was used as a Christmas Tree to keep the purists alive. I have managed to obtain a lighting loom but from a later model.

Do you have details and a photo of where the wiring comes from to the number plate light in the engine lid? I have fitted a Ducktail as the rear end had an Impact Bumper (Fender)

I've checked both sides of the engine bay and there are no live wires when I switch the lights on. I've checked the fuse. The one I looked at the Goodwood Revival had the light lead on the left side
