FS: Use Your Kids College Fund for Ugly Wheels?

    SOLD

Community college is an excellent alternative!

Because, how often does a complete set of 5, early genuine magnesium, "American Racing" Torque Thrust D spoke wheels in the 5X130mm Porsche pattern, become available? These are skinny, at 5" X 15", and perfect for a narrow body car, replacing your 4.5" steelies. The "D" term comes from the arch in the spokes, built to clear your Porsche disc brakes.

They are all 5 in excellent condition, free of corrosion, spin true, and completely rash free. They have the extra center rib at the rear of each spoke, added by AR for extra strength. That said, they are most likely 50, or so, year old magnesium wheels and I don't think you would find an honest seller who'd make promises or claims with regards to integrity of old race wheels. I have, however, run the wheels on my personal car for the last 12 months and would have continued to do so if it had not sold.

They come with a set (20) custom machined, open ended lugs and washers (1.5 X 14mm).

The wheels currently have a set of near new B.F. Goodrich Radial TA's (155/80/15) on them. Since they are currently mounted, and perfectly balanced, I'll wait to remove them until a paid buyer says to do so.

$8K, obo, for the set of 5, with or without tires, plus actual shipping cost.

(There is a chance we could work out a free delivery option if it fits into my travel plans/schedule. Especially if you want the tires also.)

Oh...and any deposit would be non-refundable, to get that out of the way!
