Are '68 Door Handles 'Left' & 'Right'?

    Help me out, friends...

Can '68 door handle (the frame part, not the thumb button) be used on either side of the car?

Or are they specifically 'left' and 'right'?

(I'm having difficulty getting them back together after re-chroming.)

    Thanks for your help.

They can be used on either side. The levers on the back side are the only parts that are "sided"
