WTB: double wrapped 380mm VDM wheel

As I approach the completion of my ST build I am considering what I'd like to have for a steering wheel. I have a nice handful of aftermarket wheels which are good choices but a proper stock 380 wheel is also a great option, plus I have a hockey puck center that has perfect patina.

So, I'm looking for a suitable 380mm VDM that's ideally double wrapped or is a good candidate to build up. I'll also look to add the hub extension to move it away from the dash. Let me know what you may have to help.

    Thanks

Nick you need a 914.347.805.10 or a 914.347.806.10 with a '69 or '70 date stamp they bolt right on without any modifications. The 805.10 is cheaper to buy.

Freezing14 and Mike- Thank you both for the information and replies. I'll await some photos (be sure to include part #) and see where it goes.

I found this in my dad's stash while sorting his parts. Said on the box that it was restored by Tony. Double wrapped flat hub, item number is 914 347 804 10, no cancel ring on back of horn button. Is this what you're looking for?

It might be. It has a different part number than what Mike suggested I need, but I'm not an expert on these. This is for my ST hot rod build, so I'm only concerned with proper fitment. I have a 380mm wheel on my 73S and I added one of Dave Cornpanzer's extenders which moves the wheel away from the dash by a few inches or so. So, I'd like the same thing, just double wrapped. I've got a hockey puck for the horn so I'm set there.

I just re-read the excellent post for Jim Breazeale started on the TRUTH about 380MM wheels and the only reference to the 804.10 wheel I saw was post #89 on page 9. He also had to add a hub extender to the wheel, but it looks to fit.

Thanks for the response and nice photos.

I found a few references you can use. The 805 and 806 came out of the factory with the leather, while the 804 is the hard rubber wheel of the 914/4 and is a bolt up to the 911, it doesn't need to have any counter sunk drilling.
