WTB: Address Change Page for Record Booklet

Well, I bought an original 69 Maintenance booklet that is in perfect shape. Oddly enough the original owner filled out both address change coverlets with their own info! So I'm looking for an address change sheet, or new coverlet for a 69 type Maintenance booklet. They often have a peel off backing for attaching the new cover. I've attached a photo of what I'm looking for. All books should have 2 or 3 of these. If you have one to spare, or know of an after market one, or can scan an original to send, I'd be very interested....Thanks so much Steve page.jpgpage2.jpg

Well, I looked and I don't have a blank 69. I do have a blank 1970, but it's different than yours as it doesn't have the 912, and in it's place is the 914/6. Otherwise it's the same. I have a blank 1973, but in that year they only had a blank page for the second owner and the page is not a removeable or "tear out".

    regards,
    Eric

You don't need a blank. Let photoshop be your friend. Then it's just a matter of getting similar paper stock.

    Steve,

Ok, I gotta play devil's advocate here...

    Why?

Call me naive but are owners changing documents so they match the current owners name?

No agenda here; I just want to know. (I suppose on some level I hope this is what's going on as I have several NOS booklets.)

Well Frank, I can only speak for my agenda. I am really resurrecting my 69 E as opposed to restoring it, as it was pretty rough. I wish to give the first page of the book a sort of rebirth certificate. If and when I pass the car on someday, the new owner will understand when the car re-entered the world for service. I'm not sure if that sounds nuts, but that's the way I look at it...Cheers Steve

    Born again.

I certainly understand that better than most.

Symbolic odometer zeroing if you will.
Best of luck with the project; sounds like you're on the 5 yard line.
