    Type 931. 170 bhp at 5500rpm, 1,984 cc SOHC air-cooled horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine with a single KKK turbocharger and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, five-speed manual transmission, independent front and rear Mac Pherson struts.

    Car no 305 built for 1979 inaugural model year.
    Matching-numbers example in special order paint color two tone Silver over Guards Red Metallic. Paint code Z4G1 with typical Turbo cord tweed interior.
    Sold new in Germany, only 53000km on the odometer.
    Includes Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.

    This is a must have car in the Garage for any Porsche collector.

    Also not air-cooled (or only indirectly, I suppose...) but a cool car in very cool exterior and interior colors. I love it. Good luck with the sale!

    Wow....bidding is up to $22K with 3 days left. Theres currently a silver '81 turbo for sale with 50K original miles for $5K local to me......is the red and silver car a limited edition model? Is that why the bidding is high?

    1979, was the first year, just for ROW market and in this colure 196 cars made ! and 53,000 km ! so cool ! and this was a show car for porsche !

    I think it will be not sold under 40-50,000:- euro

    yes red and silver car a limited and the is car number 305 show car for Porsche for 2 years ! all paper and document comes with the car,

    open for offers !

    not many left and 53,000 km,, ok it ned some smal work after standing for long time, but past the Tuv controll 2015, at 53,000 km the last one was 1986, so Porsche is porsche !
